Make sure to get into the habit of documenting your work - both in PROCESS and FINISHED - constantly.
Even PROCESS shots can be look good, there is no reason they shouldn't but the FINAL images meant for your gallery MUST be of the highest quality.
Remember to keep a folder on your computer with all the raw files. Once uploaded, they are no longer of the same quality (so if you need to submit an image for a contest or scholarship, for example, you have to use the ORIGINAL not one that has been posted).
