Artist's block? Kick down the wall with these techniques:

Set limitations to boost creativity:
  • Noah Scalin did it.... Skull-a-Day - "I'm making a skull a day for a year."
  • Susie Ganch did it...  "I did a project-a-day for 21 days. Not surprisingly the best pieces came on days 20 and 21." Make sure to read the specific rules (limitations) that she set for herself!
  • George Ferrandi did it...."I gave myself an assignment to make three pieces a day before lunch using materials I had readily available."
Sign up for daily prompts:
  • Creative Sprint - sign up to join the 30-day challenge
  • Inktober - Every October, artists all over the world make one ink drawing a day
Use pareidolia to encourage creative solutions:
  • Daily Monster - watch how ink blots become awesome things

RELAX!!!
  • Body scan meditation

Make some 3D prints, RIGHT HERE @ SCHOOL!
