Critique Check_1 - DUE FEB. 6

1/18/2015

Make sure that you have created a Googledoc, which contains:

1. Your name/class code
2. A description paragraph as already assigned and edited for the most effective presentation of the information
3. An inserted image of Matisse's "Interior with Egyptian Curtain"
4. The credit line for this painting - placed in a text box

Make sure that this document is shared with Mrs. Mosley AND two students

If you notice any suggestions from Mrs. Mosley, make sure to address those and the suggestions below by the deadline. Even if you didn't get any suggestions on your Googledoc, you should still proof your document with the following concerns in mind:

  • While there are no specific formatting requirements (at the moment), YOU ARE ASKED TO CONSIDER the most effective way to present this information. Guess what?.... THIS IS COMPOSITION!!!! Any type of graphic design uses layout rules based on the Elements, and Principles. Use what you have learned to make this document LOOK GOOD.
  • WHERE you place the image and credit line should be carefully considered as you BALANCE it with the text. USE THE SPACE (positive/negative) EFFECTIVELY.
  • Consider the SIZE of the the image and how it affects your ability to view it in comparison to the paragraph itself.
