  • Finish "Connections: Printmaking - ancient, old, and new"
  • Work on Sem. 2 projects

FRIDAY: Pep Rally schedule
  • Period 2 = 9:20-9:50  
  • Work on Sem. 2 projects 

HOMEWORK: 
  • THIS WEEK: To-do:
    • Review current content: 1) annotated packet, "Baroque: The Ornate Age," 2) related Study Guide and Supplemental Information pages, 3) the textbook
    • Work on your Semester 2 project
  • NEXT WEEK:
    • DUE April 26 - Progress check for Semester 2 Project:  
      • Fully develop your topic statement/question
      • Add additional information as "text" - use this opportunity to flesh-out what already exists and to plan for new content
      • Make sure to SPECIFY the CONNECTIONS that you will try to illustrate between OLD and NEW. 
      • Post a video related to your topic and (this can change if you find something better)
      • Add at least 2 images to support your topic 
      • Enter at least one source into the bibliography text block 
        • NOTE: You have the option of posting a presentation in PDF format, if that is an easier way to present your content
  • LOOKING AHEAD:
    • DUE May 13 = Last progress check 
    • DUE May 31  = Semester 2 Project 

HAPPENINGS:

  • May 5th - Architectural walking tour on VCU campus with Craig Reynolds, Director of the Branch Museum of Architecture and Design (2nd pd. only)
  • May 17th - Field trip to the Branch Museum of Architecture and Design AND the VMFA (extended SOL schedule, 2nd period only)
