HAPPY YOUTH ART & MUSIC MONTH!!!
Join us at the YAMM opening event to view student art, hear live music, and enjoy refreshments!​ ​

​Continue the Youth Art Month celebration EACH WEDNESDAY IN MARCH @ lunch!

  • March 27, Knitting (in collaboration with the Knitting Club!)
The National Art Honor Society is looking for a few new members! Ideally, you have been in Art Club and already know what the NAHS does... but, if not, and if you are planning to stay enrolled in art through graduation, you may still apply. Go go HERE application materials (hard-copies will also be available). Applications are due April 24th.

MONDAY: NOTE NEW CLASS TIME/ 12:15 - 1:40 pm
  • Paste-in SB #6 (review for homework, come to next class with questions)
  • Start Artist Spotlight #12
  • CONTINUE Photorealism, color & colored pencil 
  • BEGIN curating a collection of glazed ceramics to be displayed in the library. 
  • (FINISH glazing)

  • Review/clarify SB #6 directions - Q&A

PROJECT DEADLINES: Ceramic project will be finished this week and self-assessed next week.


HOMEWORK DEADLINES:​ 
  • DUE WEDNESDAY = review SB #6 carefully (read & annotate/repeat!); be prepared with questions.
  • March 22 = SB Check
  • March 29 = SB #6

CONTEST DEADLINES:
  • March 15 = deadline to enter the Asian-American Society Art Competition; the art submission deadline is March 29th
  • March 18 = Doodle for Google

  • March 22 = NAHS Art Cinema, 3:30 - 6:00 pm
  • March 29 = End Q3 and last day before spring break!
  • April 1 - 5 = Spring Break!
  • April 10 = NAHS meeting (applications to run for office are due)
  • April 12 = Future Dragon Welcome (5 - 7 pm) AND UN-Lock-in (7 - 10 pm)
  • April 24 = Art Club (NAHS applications are due)
