MONDAY:
  • Syllabus Review DUE
  • Continue: Daily Drawing /Art Skills Inventory, introductions, etc.
  • Discuss art program goals (1 - 4/5); Senior Show
  • Distribute/explain sketchbook procedures, due dates, etc. 
WEDNESDAY: 
  • Review syllabus highlights & curriculum goals, Q&A
  • Continue: Daily Drawing /Art Skills Inventory, introductions, etc.
  • Introduce first unit of study as time allows
FRIDAY: ​SCHOOL CLOSED DUE TO HURRICANE FLORENCE
  • Move to next week:
    • Artist Spotlight #1
    • Introduction to mural project

HOMEWORK:
  • DUE MONDAY =  Syllabus Review, PART 2 (FINISH).
    • Make sure that your parent/guardian has checked the "Parent/sGuardians" page and has completed the online contact information form.
    • Make sure that you have enrolled in your Quia class.
  • DUE WEDNESDAY = Read all sketchbook information, including the SB #1 assignment. Be prepared to ask questions in class.
  • DUE FRIDAY  = By today, please make sure that you have a folder/notebook/section in a notebook to hold your art notes, a signed local field trip permission form, and Lunchtime Lecture dates on your calendar (see below)
  • DUE Sept. 19 = SB CHECK
  • DUE Oct. 3 = SB #1
  • Check itslearning/mosleyart.com each Sunday evening, in order to be prepared for class on Monday

HAPPENINGS:
  • TUESDAY = NAHS meeting @ 11:45 am  (meets every 2nd and 4th Wed.)
  • FRIDAY = Introduction to the mural project (will continue on most Fridays through Oct. 19 and/or 26)
  • Sept. 20 = Back to School Night / PTSA 6:30 PM
  • Sept. 26 = Art Club meeting @ 11:45 am (meets every 4th Wed.)
  • Oct. 5 = Fall Festival
  • Oct. 10 = PSAT testing/AM (periods 5 & 7/PM)
  • Oct. 12 = Field Day/PM (periods 1 & 3/AM)

LUNCHTIME LECTURES: put these dates on your calendar (use pencil, these are subject to change)
