HEY! Did you get all the way to bottom of this agenda? You've read it, updated your calendar/agenda as needed, and are all prepared for the week ahead - and beyond? WELL DONE. FIST PUMP. You may have been born with natural talent, which is awesome... but you may not have as much talent as you would like, which is totally fine.... Much of what we do in this class is "teachable - no talent required." From the list, "10 Things That Require Zero Talent": 1) Choose one quality that you are sure you do have and that you can easily bring with you to art class every day AND  2) Choose one quality that you will prioritize as a goal to focus on throughout the year.

Submit your answers as a comment!

PS - These agenda questions can earn you extra credit! They are meant to encourage weekly review of the agenda. You will not be penalized for not commenting BUT I do hope that you ARE checking the website! These extra credit options will not be available weekly, so take advantage of them when you have the chance!

PPS - Only those comments submitted BEFORE the first class of the week AND those that specifically follow the directions/meet the challenge of the given prompt will be approved.

I am generally always on time for my classes, even early. It gives me that extra few minutes to get organized an prepared without interrupting the class. Something I can work on is being coachable in art. I have never really learned how to change/improve my artistic style, so I will work on keeping an open mind when I am taught.

1) I do have an ability to be on time and I can easily bring that with me to art class every day. 2) One quality that I will prioritize as a goal to focus on throughout the year is energy, as my sleep schedule isn't the best.

I'm usually good at putting 100% effort into things I do, however, one quality I think I can work on improving is being coachable because sometimes I have trouble taking in new concepts.

I believe that one thing that I always do is put in extra work, and that one thing that I strive to improve is my energy. Sometimes I might be very tired or be negative towards my own artwork.

I think that I do have a passion for art because I have always been inclined towards making it and find it enjoyable. I think that being prepared is something that I might need to work on as I am very forgetful so I will not be prepared with smaller things that may slip my mind.

I already try to be punctual, but I could work on putting in extra effort into my art.

#1: Passion! I am very passionate about art and I know that I will be sure to put lots of passion and thought into my work. Having this passion makes art even more enjoyable for me, and it makes my work better, because I enjoy making it.
#2: Being coachable. Sometimes I get frustrated with myself and it is hard for me to take heed of someone's advice, whether it is someone I know or my own! I will try to improve on this in art this year.

One thing I'm good at is my work ethic. I like to work on things until I'm done so I'll always be working on a piece until it's finished.
I need to work on being coachable. I like to judge my work myself and don't take as much feedback and advice from other people as I should .

I know that I will bring with me a good attitude every day, but one thing I need to work on and prioritize as a goal is passion. Of course I do like art, but I don't think I have a strong passion for it yet.

1) Being Prepared!
2) I want to focus on retaining a positive attitude even when the art I create is not perfect or not to my liking.
