Consider your course options in the Art Department: 
Art 2 (then 3, 4/5), Topics in Digital Media (digital art next year, then graphic design), Survey of World Art (VCU/8 credits!),
Photography (VCU), Film Studies (VCU), 
and Digital Video or Photojournalism Seminars (for seniors)


MONDAY/TUESDAY:
  • Warm up: 10 min.
    • Prepare to ask any questions you may still have about SB #5 
    • Work on Linear Perspective packet
  • Class activities:​
    • Continue Linear Perspective & Figure Drawing
    • Introduce Value

WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY:
  • Warm up: 10 min.
    • Work on Linear Perspective packet
  • Class activities:​
    • Continue Linear Perspective & Figure Drawing
    • Continue Value

FRIDAY: 
  • Warm up: 5 min.
    • Prep for SB Check
  • Class activities:
    • SB Check - AS #10 + _____-a-Week #1 + Curiosity page/Creativity
    • TBD

​HOMEWORK is designed to: 1) allow for exploration, practice, preparation, and application of class content, 2) encourage independent work, time management, and efficiency of work flow (don't procrastinate!), 3) fit within the weekly homework time allotted for this class. Keep these things in mind as you work. Use of a timer is one way to stay on task and to monitor your work time. Please note that your individual needs and work process may result in spending more or less than the suggested average time. Please ask for help/use extended lunch as needed; communicate extension requests 3-days before a deadline.​​
  • DUE MONDAY/TUESDAY = Come to class with questions after thoroughly reviewing, annotating, and getting started on SB #5 on your own!
  • DUE FRIDAY = SB Check/AS #10, _____-a-Week #1, Curiosity page/Creativity
  • DUE Feb. 16 =  SB Check/ _____-a-Week #2
  • DUE Feb. 22/23 =  SB Check/_____-a-Weeks #3 & #4
  • DUE March 2 =  SB Check/_____-a-Week #5
  • DUE March 9 =  SB Check/_____-a-Week #6
  • DUE March 30 = SB #5
  • DUE EVERY WEEK = Check the website at the start of each week; update your agenda accordingly and complete any required preparatory work
